FAQs
WHAT IS COSMETIC TATTOOING?
Cosmetic tattooing is the placement of pigment into the dermal layer of the skin. Also known as micro pigmentation or permanent make up.
DOES COSMETIC TATTOOING HURT?
Generally not. Each individual has a different pain threshold. Some clients fall asleep! Numbing cream/gel is applied before and during the procedure to ensure your experience is as comfortable as possible.
HOW LONG DOES THE PROCEDURE TAKE?
It does depend on what area is being tattooed, and what technique is being performed, but usually around 1.5-2 hours for the first appointment.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Most cosmetic tattoos will last anywhere from 12-18 months, sometimes longer. Depending on your skin type, lifestyle and what products you use on your skin. (eg. skin products containing strong exfoliation and skin bleaching agents can contribute to the tattoo not lasting as long, requiring more regular touch ups)
WHAT KINDS OF PIGMENTS AND NEEDLES DO YOU USE?
Strict hygiene and sterile environment protocol is followed as per Queensland legislation. All needles and devices used during the procedure are disposable "single-use-only" items, therefore eliminating any chance of cross contamination. All pigments are sterilised during manufacturing process.
